Safety Street In 2003 KC CAN! launched Safety Street. Safety Street is an educational program that is proven to reduce preventable injuries among children. Faith & Mercy Drive The Faith & Mercy Drive collects toys for the Children's Mercy Child Life Department to support and encourage children who are patients at the hospital. Click here to learn more about the Faith & Mercy Drive. The Bridge Home In 2009, KC CAN! teamed with The Bridge Home on a project to refurbish a home for teenage mothers and their newborn babies. Playground Projects Since 2004 KC CAN! has led an ongoing project to to provide safe, high quality playgrounds to targeted areas in the Kansas City that have unsafe playgrounds or no play area for children at all. Higher M-Pact KC CAN! has partnered with Higher M-Pact to support initiatives that teach high-risk urban youth to become productive leader in our community.
