Safety Street In 2003 KC CAN! launched Safety Street. Safety Street is an educational program that is proven to reduce preventable injuries among children. Playground Projects Since 2004 KC CAN! has led an ongoing project to to provide safe, high quality playgrounds to targeted areas in the Kansas City that have unsafe playgrounds or no play area for children at all.
